Make this simple Apple Cider Moscow Mule for a refreshing, seasonal twist on the classic. It uses only four main ingredients and comes together in five minutes, making it perfect for quick sipping or serving at autumn gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz Vodka
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 3 oz Apple Cider (unfiltered recommended)
  • 4 oz Ginger Beer (chilled)
  • Ice
  • Garnish: Cinnamon stick or thin apple slices

Instructions

  1. Chill your copper mug or highball glass before starting.
  2. Fill the mug completely with ice.
  3. Pour the vodka and fresh lime juice over the ice.
  4. Add the apple cider to the mug.
  5. Top the mixture with chilled ginger beer.
  6. Gently stir the drink once or twice to combine the ingredients without losing carbonation.
  7. Garnish with a cinnamon stick or a thin slice of apple.

Notes

  • For a large batch serving, combine the vodka, lime juice, and apple cider in a pitcher ahead of time. Keep the ginger beer separate and add it just before serving to maintain fizz.
  • If you prefer a spicier drink, use a ginger beer with a higher ginger content.
  • To make a non-alcoholic version, omit the vodka and increase the apple cider slightly, or add a splash of sparkling water.
