Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 cup finely chopped dill pickles
1/4 cup pickle juice
1 tablespoon dried dill weed
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
Add the sour cream, pickle juice, dried dill weed, garlic powder, and onion powder to the bowl. Mix until just combined.
Fold in the finely chopped dill pickles using a spatula.
Taste the dip and add salt and pepper as needed.
Cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld.
Serve your homemade pickle dip with chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
Notes
For an extra tangy flavor, substitute half of the sour cream with plain Greek yogurt.
If you want a crunchier texture, reserve 2 tablespoons of chopped pickles and stir them in just before serving.
This dip is excellent when made a day ahead of time.
