Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels. This helps achieve a better texture. Place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Rub this seasoning mixture evenly over the top and sides of each salmon fillet.
In a separate small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and dried parsley to create the glaze.
Brush or spoon half of the glaze mixture evenly over the tops of the seasoned salmon fillets.
Bake the salmon for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon is mostly cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Brush the remaining glaze over the salmon.
Return the salmon to the oven and bake for another 3 to 5 minutes, or until the glaze is slightly caramelized and the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
Serve immediately. This salmon pairs well with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
Notes
For extra crispy edges, you can briefly place the salmon under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning the glaze.
If you prefer a stronger garlic flavor, increase the minced garlic to 3 cloves.
This recipe works well with either fresh or thawed frozen salmon fillets.
