Ingredients
Scale
1 pound bulk pork sausage
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
Cook the bulk pork sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned. Drain off all excess grease.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, black pepper, and onion powder. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and smooth.
Spread the sausage mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the cheese on top is melted and lightly golden.
Serve immediately with tortilla chips, crackers, or vegetable sticks.
Notes
For a spicier dip, use hot Italian sausage instead of regular pork sausage.
You can assemble the dip mixture up to 24 hours ahead of time and keep it covered in the refrigerator. Add 5-10 minutes to the baking time if baking from cold.
If you prefer a slow cooker method, combine all ingredients and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring halfway through.
